Recently we rented 2 boats from Jay at Tri-County Boat. The Bentley Tri-Toon and Sea Ray Deck Boat for the week (a little pricey compared to other rental company's but well worth it) both boats looked great and performed perfectly. Large family reunion on Lake Keowee. Not only was Jay a delight to work with, he and his team had all the details worked out perfectly. Boats were great as was their service. Tri-County Boat is now our go-to boat rental company. Thank you Tri-County "Jay" from the "B" family, see you next year.

I just wanted to let y'all know you're a lifesaver. I recently made a reservation with Lake Keowee Marina but the morning I was supposed to have the rental reserved for I called and they said they didn't have a reservation for me which turned me towards calling you guys. Jay was very respectful on the phone and explained everything in detail. The morning of our reservation we met Mark and went over everything in detail. This past weekend we rented the Bayliner Capri 2050, along with a set of skis, wakeboard, and tube. I could not imagine having a better experience! Jay was very kind, personable, and informative. He patiently answered all my questions in descriptive detail and gave us the suggestions to meet at Lake Keowee. He spent the time to thoroughly explain to me small details about the park, lake, boat, and payment options.
We met Clay at the boating dock in Mile Creek park. We arrived 20 minutes early and was pleased to see that he was already there waiting for us. Clay was very knowledgable about the lake and showed us the islands and other points of interest. The boat was very clean and well equipped, plus the water toys seemed to be brand new. We even had the option of 2 tow ropes!
When the day came to an end it was nice to see Clay waiting at the boating dock for us!
I highly recommend Tri-County and would definitely use them again!

We rented from Jay in mid August and had a GREAT experience. Beginning with my first phone call to arrange the rental. Jay was warm and friendly. I quickly felt that I was dealing with a friend, not just a company. We had a couple of unique requests that Jay was quick to find ways to accommodate. And since we were staying at the south end of Lake Keowee, Jay had the boat delivered there.
Bill made the delivery right on time and was also wonderful to deal with. The Crest pontoon boat was very clean and well equipped, and Bill made the hand-over simple. A second name became a friendly face! As we were about to head off, Bill also handed us a basket for my wife of local home made jams and honey, along with brochures of local area attractions. We later found out Jay's wife puts this together. Thank you so much for adding that touch of southern hospitality!
The boat ran perfectly the entire week. We had no need to call him, but he called us to make sure everything was going fine. We brought it back to the drop off point and Bill was again waiting for us, right on time. "Check-in" was smooth and simple and in no time we were on our way to the next part of our great adventure in Upcountry SC.
I have rented boats from Maine to Texas and many points in between, and Jay and Tri-County is definitely one of the best I have ever dealt with. They provide great service with southern hospitality. I would highly recommend that if you ever are thinking about renting a boat in northwest SC, put Tri-County boat rentals at the top of your list.

Tri-County is THE place to rent your boat. This is our second time renting with Jay and his boats (and service) made both vacations.
This year (August 2014) we rented the Crest Ski Pontoon for a week on Lake Keeowee. Very nice, well kept boat and equipment. Rusty delivered the boat on schedule and showed us all the operational details (Thanks Rusty!). We had several questions during the week and both Jay and Rusty were quickly available when we needed assistance.
I highly recommend Tri-County!

We really enjoyed the Crest pontoon boat rental. Your service and attention to detail were greatly appreciated. Delivery to Lake Glenville was on time and the boat was in excellent condition including the furnishings, life jackets, tubing equipment, radio and depth finder. The addition of a cutoff switch for the battery was an excellent addition and saved us from the battery drain that electronic gear can cause when left on.
We have rented from you for several years and find the service always excellent. Hopefully we will be back next year with all the family ? All 6 adults and 5 children. You operate a GREAT rental service and you can quote us!

My family and I rented a fun deck for a week while staying on Lake Keowee and were highly impressed with the service we received. The company was prompt, responsive, and made our rental as easy as possible. Before our vacation, we inquired about fish finder on the boat and Jay immediately guaranteed us that he would make sure our boat was equipped with one. He was able to provide all of the extras that we were looking for such as water skis and a knee board. Jay contacted us several times throughout the week to check up on us and luckily we had nothing bad to report. Both the delivery and pick up were on time and easy. This company was great in every aspect. Highly recommended! It is worth every penny.

This was our second year using Tri county boat rental. Last year we rented a great deck boat and this summer we rented a very fun bow rider. The service and communication were excellent. We needed a company that could drop off and pick up a boat for us both times. The Tri county team was friendly, responsive, on time, and did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our time on the boat.
I highly recommend Tri county and will definitely use them again.

Great service! We rented a pontoon boat over the long Easter weekend. All of our questions were answered regarding operation of the boat and help would have only been only a phone call away if we needed it. But we didn't. Jay even checked in with us to make sure the boat was working well. The delivery and picked of the boat was convenient, prompt and ahead of time. I think an employee is expected to wait rather than make a customer wait. I would definitely rent again. It is so nice on a multi-day rental to keep the boat over night and not have to turn it in at 5 pm. Evening is a nice time to cruise around.
